Holy Cross Orthodox Mission Hospital is a Private Not for Profit facility established in the early 1960’s by the Uganda Orthodox Church.
The hospital is situated at Uganda Orthodox Church Headquarters at Namungoona along Kampala-Hoima Road, 6KMS from the City Center. By nature of its location, the facility is close to the central Business districts of Kampala and Wakiso.The Hospital has a five-year (2021-2025) Strategy which expresses our commitment to provide high-quality, patient-centered care without discrimination and acts as the framework to which we align our priorities and focus for the future as we advance our vision of becoming a Centre of excellence in delivery of health care services in Uganda and beyond.
Operating 24 hours and 7 days a week, the Hospital has both inpatient and outpatient wings with a bed capacity of 35. The services offered include;
The Emergency care unit is a 24-hour, fully-equipped section in the outpatient department, which cares for all kinds of accident victims and emergency cases. Medical supplies, as is blood from the lab, are available round-the-clock from the in-house pharmacy.

Our General Surgery department has a team of skilled and experienced Doctors and Nurses who are ready to perform common surgical procedures.

Radiology is a medical specialty that employs the use of imaging for the diagnosis and treatment of disease visualized within the body. Our Radiologists and Radiographers use an array of imaging technologies such as plain radiography (x-rays) & Ultrasound scans, to diagnose ailments.
