    Frequently Asked Questions

    Do I need a referral to see a specialist?β–Ό

For most specialist consultations at Holy Cross, you do not need a formal referral. You can book directly with our appointments team. However, for certain procedures or insurance purposes, a referral letter may be beneficial. Contact us and we will advise you based on your specific needs.

What insurance schemes do you accept?β–Ό

We work with a wide range of national and international health insurance providers. Please contact our billing department or front desk with your insurance card details, and we will confirm coverage before your appointment. We also offer affordable self-pay packages and payment plans.

How do I get my medical records or test results?β–Ό

Medical records and test results can be requested through our Medical Records department. Most lab results are available within 24–48 hours. For imaging results, your doctor will typically review them with you at a follow-up appointment. You can also contact us via email at [email protected] with your request.

Is there a chapel or spiritual support available?β–Ό

Yes. As an Orthodox Mission Hospital, we have a beautiful Chapel of Healing on our campus, open to patients, families, and visitors throughout the day. Our chaplaincy team β€” led by Father Theodore Mussa β€” is available for prayer, spiritual support, and pastoral care at any time during your stay or visit. We welcome all faiths.

    Are visiting hours restricted?β–Ό

General visiting hours are from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM daily. ICU and special wards may have restricted visiting for patient safety β€” please check with the ward nurse upon arrival. For emergency or compassionate visits outside these hours, please speak to the duty nurse or administrator.
